ocalcicu My first exposure to martial dungeon synth was Bloodsoaked Flail, and it gave me a very heavy, dark and dull impression of this style. However, on this first release, Úmarth brings a perceptible darkwave influence to the grim and bleak table. What I mean is that a real beat is not shied away from, bringing a bounciness, and I daresay a streak of fun, to this release's pessimistic outlook. Favorite track: Blood on my Halberd.
